華碩新推出 ROG ROG STRIX GTX1080 O8G 11GBPS 顯示卡，比起之前的 STRIX-GTX1080-A8G-GAMING 版本，不僅時脈提升至 OC 模式 GPU Boost Clock 1860 MHz、GPU Base Clock 1721 MHz，更提升 1Gbps 記憶體時脈至 11Gbps；設計上與上一版相同，MaxContact 散熱器鍍鎳銅底直觸，佔用 2.5-Slot 高度，以及 ASUS FanConnect II、自動製造、Super Alloy Power II 電源、ASUS Aura Sync 燈光效果等。
目前這張效能會比之前的 STRIX GTX 1080 要好，但提升幅度應該不大。
